Forty three years of commitment
A young Michael and Vicki Land moved back to Vicki's hometown to rear their girls, Brandy and Megyn, in 1977. With a commitment to Faith, Family and Brookhaven friends they built a hand-hewned log cabin from Tennesse and with advice from a Texas barbeque expert they opened Bowie Barbeque. Years later they added farm raised Catfish with help from another friend whose family was known for their exceptional catfish. With wonderful staff and management Bowies is a favorite from N.O. to Jackson.
